Accommodation of the sailing school is housed in an entirely renovated and redecorated monumental Frisian farmhouse. Our rooms are suitable for 2 to 8 persons and are equipped with central heating. Showers can be found either in or in close vicinity of the room. There are a total of 130 beds in several nice rooms.

Centrally placed in the farmhouse is the old “deel”: the part where the cows used to be tended to when staying inside. This large open former stable is now a nice dining hall where we all eat breakfast or dinner. All rooms are situated around this dining hall, as well as a smaller dining room. This dining room is suited for dinners up to 30 persons and in a multifunctional way also capable of housing theory lessons and meetings.

The bar

The bar can be easily reached from different parts of the farm house and is decorated in a cosy fashion. Here you can catch up and tell your tall stories whilst enjoying a drink. Under Dutch regulation we only serve alcoholic beverages to ages 16 and up. The bar and dining hall can be coupled to a large festival hall equipped with disco-lights and sound system.

Above the bar

Situated above the bar is a relaxing area with seats, table games and books. From here you have a splendid view over the Idzegaaster-lake. This space is also used for theory lessons and meetings.

Outside

Outside is a large area with a terrace at the waterside, directly next to our sailing school harbor. Here you can enjoy the widely views over the lake, watch the beautiful sunsets and see our ships sail.
